To promote computational thinking for life-long learning.
Highlights / Achievements
Robotics continues to offer enriching learning opportunities for our YSS Robotics students through a wide range of activities. Both our CCA training sessions and participation in external competitions help foster camaraderie, build resilience, and showcase the students’ creativity and innovation as they strive for excellence.
In 2025, our students participated in a training programme that introduced them to various technology domains and essential 21st-century skillsets.
Secondary One students explored game creation using Scratch and embarked on intermediate Lego Robotics projects using Spike Prime.
Secondary Two students advanced their learning through a more in-depth Lego Robotics programme.
Secondary Three students took part in the Intel Artificial Intelligence Programme, where they were introduced to advanced Python programming.
In October 2024, our students competed in the Ngee Ann Polytechnic Aerobot Challenge, which aims to spark interest in autonomous technology among Secondary 2 and 3 students. The competition challenges participants to solve simulated real-world problems using drones and catapult (not robots) in a team-based format.
We are proud to share that one of our teams emerged as Champions in this prestigious challenge. Congratulations to our students on this outstanding achievement!
